Add custom meal prep step by step to template website. Back and front end
Budget: £750 – £1,500 GBP
Company Background:
Lions Kitchen is a growing meal prep and delivery business based in London. Our goal is to bring healthy, culturally rich, and delicious food to our customers’ doors, inspired by Caribbean, West African, and American cuisines.
We are now ready to move beyond our current template website (built on XStore theme + Elementor Pro) and invest in a fully functional, scalable web solution that mirrors HelloFresh.com both in design and functionality.
---
Project Scope:
We want an exact clone of our UX in terms of user experience, functionality, and flow — optimized for mobile and desktop. This includes:
Frontend (Customer-facing):
Clean, modern UI matching our example
Meal selection system (choose meals for week)
Step-by-step meal plan setup (zip code entry, plan selection, preferences)
Interactive menu page with filtering (by cuisine, dietary, etc.)
User account registration and login
Meal customization options
Weekly meal previews
Subscription and checkout flow (cart + Stripe or PayPal integration)
Backend (Admin-facing):
Simple and intuitive dashboard
CRUD functionality for meal plans, products, and users
Order tracking and subscription management
Weekly menu upload system
Email integration (transactional and reminders)
Analytics integration (Google Analytics, Hotjar optional)
Other Functionalities:
CMS capability for blog or news updates
GDPR compliance + Cookie consent
SEO-friendly architecture
Fast load time (optimized assets)
---
Platform:
WordPress (preferred, due to familiarity)
Elementor Pro (if efficient for frontend UI replication)
WooCommerce or custom checkout (based on developer's recommendation)
Stripe and PayPal integration
---
