API Specialist for Automation Google Sheets and Sendcloud
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
We are seeking an expert in automation and API integration to create a system that connects Google Sheets with Sendcloud API. The goal is to automate the entire shipping process in three steps:
Input data for rate calculations: Fill out Google Sheets with information such as package weight, dimensions, and address, and send the data to Sendcloud to calculate shipping rates.
List shipping rates: Retrieve available rates and export them automatically to Google Sheets, including carrier details, costs, and estimated delivery times in dedicated cells.
Create shipping order: Generate the shipping order directly in Sendcloud using the data provided in the spreadsheet.
Key Requirements:
Strong knowledge of REST APIs and the ability to work with API documentation (specifically Sendcloud).
Experience with Google Apps Script or similar tools to automate Google Sheets.
Ability to implement conditional logic, such as applying percentage markups to calculated prices.
Familiarity with the shipping workflow: rate calculations, listing options, and creating orders.
Attention to detail and thorough testing to ensure smooth and reliable automation.
Primary Tasks:
Configure API calls for required functions (rate calculations, rate listings, order creation).
Develop scripts to integrate Google Sheets with Sendcloud API.
Manage the application of markups to calculated shipping prices.
Document the process for future modifications.
Nice to Have:
Previous experience with Sendcloud or similar shipping platforms.
Ability to integrate the system with additional tools like Zapier or Integromat if needed.
