API Integration: Supplier Catalog Sync for Shopify Store

- Project Overview
We are looking for an experienced developer to integrate our supplier’s product catalog into our Shopify store via API. The integration must ensure that the entire catalog is automatically synchronized, including categories, subcategories, brands, and products, along with all relevant attributes.
- Key Requirements
1)Full Catalog Synchronization
.Import and continuously sync categories, subcategories, brands, and products.
.Ensure automatic updates when the supplier modifies or adds products.
2)Product Attributes & Filters
Each brand and product may have multiple configurable attributes, including but not limited to:
.Color
Internal memory
.Aesthetic grade (e.g., refurbished conditions)
.Functional defects (if any)
.Screen size (in inches)
.VAT type
.Other relevant filters provided via API
3)Multi-Language Configuration
.The categories, brands, and attributes should be configurable in Italian for our customers.
Example: If the supplier's API provides a category "REFURBISHED IPHONES", it should be possible to display it as "iPhone Ricondizionati" on the website.
4)Shopify Menu & Navigation
-The imported categories and subcategories must be structured properly in Shopify’s navigation menu.
Products should be displayed under their respective categories with all necessary filters.
5)Performance & Scalability
.The integration should be optimized to handle large datasets efficiently.
Avoid duplicate entries and ensure smooth API communication.
-Additional Information
A detailed API integration guide will be provided once the right candidate is selected.
The developer should ensure that the integration is stable, automated, and requires minimal manual intervention after setup.
