Real Estate & Construction Photo Editing Specialist Needed
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
Project Overview:
I am a commercial Real Estate and Construction photographer in need of a skilled photo editor to assist in editing images to a high standard, allowing me to finalize them for my clients. This is a one-time project involving 3 images, but I aim to identify the best candidates for ongoing work in the future.
Scope of Work:
- Luminosity blending (instructional video and Lightroom templates will be provided to successful candidates)
- Initial color correction and adjustments using Lightroom to create a baseline before bringing images into Photoshop
- Exposure adjustments, HDR blending, and other layer-based editing in Photoshop

Techniques used:
A combination of bracketed images and the flambient technique
Candidates must be familiar with both luminosity blending and flambient techniques.
Software Requirements:
- Photoshop for the majority of edits
- Lightroom for initial adjustments
- (Preferable but not essential) Lumenzia software for luminosity blending in photoshop
File formats:
Deliverables must be returned in Photoshop format, ensuring I can amend the files and any edits made.
Number of photos:
3 images for this initial project. if happy with the results, then future projects of typically 8-15 images can follow.
Experience and Expertise:
- Proven experience editing commercial Real Estate and Construction projects
- Familiarity with the flambient technique and luminosity blending is essential
Preferred experience:
Experience with Lumenzia software for luminosity masking is a plus, though not required
Turnaround Time:
All deliverables for a typical project of 8-15 images must be completed and returned within 24-48 hours of receiving the images.
Ongoing vs. One-Time Project:
This is a one-time project initially, but I am looking to establish an ongoing relationship with the right candidate for future projects.
Budget:
Please provide your rates for editing 3 images based on the scope of work described. Ideally I would like a rate per image for cost calculation purposes
File Sharing:
- I will share the images and resources via OneDrive.
- Candidates may submit the final files via Dropbox or Google Drive if they prefer.
Sample Work or Test Project:
Please share examples of your previous work related to Real Estate or Construction photography.
Submission Requirements:
Candidates considering submitting for this project must meet the following requirements:
- Provide details on your track record in this field. How long have you been working on real estate, architectural, or construction-related photo editing projects?
- What percentage of your work is focused on photo editing in this genre? I am specifically seeking a specialist photo editor, not a general graphic designer.
- Submit a portfolio or examples of your past work in commercial real estate, architecture, or construction photography editing.
- Confirm that you are comfortable delivering the final edits in PSD format, with all edits shown as layers.
