Photoshop Graphic Artist (Advanced Color & Image Manipulation Specialist)
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
We do not accept auto bids. If you do not read this post all the way through your bid will automatically be rejected.
We are looking for a true Photoshop expert and graphic artist — someone who understands color, tone, and visual balance at a deep level, not someone who simply knows how to crop images or apply filters.
This role requires someone who can take existing images and transform them so they visually integrate perfectly into a specific environment, theme, or color palette.
For example, you might be given an image with strong cool blue highlights that must seamlessly blend into a warm brown / tan website design palette without destroying natural skin tones, lighting realism, or visual balance.
This requires artistic judgment, technical Photoshop mastery, and deep understanding of color relationships.
If you are the type of person who truly understands how color behaves and how to reshape it without degrading the image, this job is for you.
What You Will Be Doing
You will primarily be working with existing images and modifying them so they fit perfectly into website layouts, marketing materials, and branded design environments.
Typical work includes:
Rebalancing entire images to match a specific color palette
Adjusting highlights, midtones, and shadows independently
Converting images with cool lighting into warm environments
Maintaining natural skin tones while shifting background color balance
Removing color casts while preserving lighting realism
Matching images to brand-specific tone profiles
Correcting lighting inconsistencies across composite visuals
Enhancing visual cohesion between multiple images on a page
Your work must be invisible and natural — the goal is that the viewer cannot tell the image was heavily manipulated.
Advanced Photoshop Skills Required
You must be highly proficient with professional-level Photoshop tools, including but not limited to:
Color Correction & Color Grading
Color Balance
Selective Color
Hue / Saturation targeting
Gradient Maps
Match Color
Color Lookup Tables (LUTs)
Tonal Control
Curves
Levels
Exposure adjustments
Highlight / shadow recovery
Channel-level adjustments
Advanced Layer Techniques
Adjustment layers
Masking
Luminosity masks
Blend modes
Smart objects
Professional Image Integration
Color matching between multiple images
Environmental color adaptation
Lighting consistency corrections
Depth and contrast balancing
Highlight and reflection control
What We Do NOT Need
We are not looking for someone who:
Only knows how to crop, resize, or apply filters
Uses preset Instagram-style edits
Performs purely mechanical Photoshop tasks
We need someone who understands why an image looks the way it does and how to intelligently reshape its color structure.
The Ideal Candidate
You likely have experience in:
Professional graphic design
Photo retouching
Advertising or marketing design
High-end visual compositing
Color grading
You should be someone who can look at an image and instantly understand how its color, tone, and lighting need to change to fit a new environment.
Working Style
You will be working directly with the project architect.
You will receive:
Images
Design context
Target visual style
Your job is to modify and adapt the images so they visually belong in that environment.
We work fast, we move fast, and we expect high-quality results.
When Applying
Please include:
Portfolio examples demonstrating color grading or color correction
Before / after examples if available
Examples where you changed the color environment of an image
To show you read this all the way to the end please start your bid with "COLORWISE NOT IMAGE RESIZE"
