Photo Editing

I am starting a food blog and instagram page using local, seasonal and foraged ingredients, using techniques from around the world to cook and preserve them. I have taken some photos of the food I have produced so far but they aren't turning out the way I was hoping. I have taken a short course on photography and editing but obviously I still have a lot to learn. I would love to make the photos to look as appealing and professional as possible.

I have taken multiple shots of most of the cooks and would like advice on which ones would be best to use and then have them edited for use on instagram and the food blog.

It would be good to be able to discuss the photos and the vision I have for the blog. I would appreciate any input as well.
