Medical Image Editor Needed
Budget: £10 – £30 GBP
I'm working on a university research project involving capsule endoscopy images. I need a skilled image editor to manually clean and enhance a batch of 5000 images.
Tasks include:
- Removing text annotations, timestamps, or UI elements (e.g., green boxes) from medical images
- Preserving the medical/anatomical content of the image (no cropping of clinical features)
- Blending and smoothing background areas after removal
- Ensuring consistency and visual clarity across the dataset
The images have gone through OCR + inpainting, so the remaining text is minimal on average, with many images being free from text and some others having more than average (but still not a lot).
These images will be used to train a deep learning model, so precision and consistency are very important.
Ideal skills and experience:
- Proficiency in GIMP (prefereably that's what was used for the rest of the images), or PhotoShop
- Experience with medical or scientific image editing
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain visual consistency
