Bulk analyse and categorise images by colour

I have a catalogue of JPEG images (20k plus) which need to be automatically categorised into categories depending on the key/dominant visual colour In The image. There will be a choice of approx 12 to choose from, for example red, orange, green, yellow, purple, pink, blue… etc. I would like either a desktop software solution to automatically do this, or for example a photoshop macro/action.
