About the Project
We are working with a globally recognized artificial intelligence (AI) research and development organization to support the creation of a multilingual AI system capable of accurately reading and interpreting real-world written content.
As part of this effort, we are launching the Vietnamese Language Image Collection Project, which focuses on collecting authentic, high-resolution images that feature Vietnamese-language text in everyday settings across Vietnam. These images will directly support the training of advanced AI models.
This is a remote freelance opportunity for iPhone users currently living in Vietnam who are looking for flexible, paid work and want to participate in an innovative, technology-driven initiative.
What You’ll Be Capturing (Text Must Be in Vietnamese)
Participants will be required to capture high-quality, original photographs featuring visible Vietnamese-language text found in real-world environments. Acceptable examples include:
Advertising boards, public signage, street signs, or posters
Menus from restaurants or cafes, food packaging with printed Vietnamese text
Handwritten notes, reminders, or lists
Brochures, flyers, product labels, or packaging materials
Digital displays showing Vietnamese-language content (captured via photo, not screenshot)
Important Guidelines
All images must be taken by you using your iPhone.
Internet images or screenshots will not be accepted.
Submissions must be clear, in focus, well-lit, and the Vietnamese text must be fully legible.
Blurry, duplicated, or incomplete images will be rejected.
Requirements
Own and use an iPhone (2018 model/latest model)
Currently reside in Vietnam
Ability to take clear, well-composed photographs with visible Vietnamese-language text
Basic comfort using a smartphone camera and uploading digital files
Reliable internet access for file submission
Compensation
$200 USD for every 500 valid, approved image set
You may submit as many image sets as you’d like—there is no upper limit
Payment is made after successful review and approval by our quality assurance team
