Same-Day Proposal Photography
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m surprising my partner with a proposal in a park later today and need an experienced photographer who excels at candid, unobtrusive shooting. The location is outdoors, so you should be comfortable working with natural light and moving discreetly around open spaces to catch genuine reactions without interrupting the moment.
Here’s what I need:
• Arrival 15–20 minutes before the scheduled time to discuss positioning and signals.
• Around 60–90 minutes of on-site coverage, including the lead-up, the actual “yes,” and a short couple session afterward.
• A curated set of high-resolution, lightly retouched images delivered via an online gallery; a handful of sneak-peek shots tonight would be ideal so I can share the news with family.
You’ll need your own professional gear, a fast portrait lens for shallow-depth candid shots, and backup equipment just in case. If you’ve captured surprise proposals before, please share a few relevant samples or a link to your portfolio.
Timing is tight, so let me know your availability and any quick questions right away. Looking forward to working with someone who can make this once-in-a-lifetime moment look as magical on camera as it feels in person.
