Retail Shelf and Promotion Audit

Job ID: 40454199

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I need a detail-oriented freelancer who can drop into a mix of groceries, supermarkets, small stores, and convenience outlets in your area and document what the shelves really look like. Your job is to show me which brands are present, how they are laid out, and what promotions or cross-promotions are running right now.

Here’s how the assignment works:

• Visit each assigned store type (groceries, supermarkets, small stores, convenience stores).
• Photograph the full shelf, then close-ups of every brand and any price, promo tag, or secondary placement.
• Note in a short written summary the shelf layout (order, facings, eye-level placements), the exact wording of promotions, and any cross-category tie-ins you spot.

Deliverables I expect:
1. A folder of clear, time-stamped photos for each store.
2. A concise report (Word, Google Doc, or Excel) listing brands, shelf position, and every promotion seen, store by store.

Acceptance criteria: images must be in focus and labelled with store name, date, and aisle; the written report must line up with the images and cover both shelf layout and promotions.

When you apply, briefly show similar retail audit work or any field-research experience you have, so I know you can get in and out of stores efficiently and capture the right detail.
