Quito City stock photo and video project - 14/05/2026 00:41 EDT
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m putting together an image library that captures the real pulse of Quito, and I need your help on the ground. Using nothing more than a smartphone with a decent camera, I’d like you to shoot a total of 1,000 photos, including a handful of short video clips, showing everyday life around the city and nearby areas.
What to focus on
• Daily activities that reveal local lifestyle and culture
• Street scenes, food stalls, cafés, and markets in action
• Architecture, with a particular emphasis on modern structures—think new commercial buildings, contemporary public spaces, and recent residential developments
Organisation is important. Please sort everything by location (neighbourhood, landmark, or street) so I can quickly browse sets from La Mariscal, Centro Histórico, Cumbayá, etc. Basic file naming or simple folder structures are fine as long as they stay consistent.
Deliverables
• 1,000 original, high-resolution smartphone photos (Samsung or iPhone preferred, shot in the default format)
• 10–20 short video clips, each 10–20 seconds (MP4 or MOV)
• Folders clearly labelled by location
• A brief text file listing shot locations and dates
You don’t have to be a professional photographer—just someone with a good eye, steady hands, and the ability to follow instructions. All images and clips must be your own work, free of watermarks, and unreleased elsewhere. If this sounds like a project you can tackle while exploring the city, let’s get started!
