Produce Simple Photoshoot with Model -- 3
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
We are a small start up digital magazine focusing on photography and modelling. We are seeking to collaborate with photographers within the guidelines of our brief, which is: "celebrating the uniqueness and individuality of the male model as an object of desire." Each issue of the magazine will focus on one model.
We are seeking independent photographers - not necessarily with tonnes of experience and a massive portfolio - who care about photography as a way to explore a subject through the art of portraiture. We are seeing a fresh, bold take on photography while still within the confines of the magazines set parameters. Meaning that you will be tasked with producing a very specific photoshoot, but are allowed to be creative and artistic at the same time. This is a great opportunity for independent photographers.
This job is open to any photographer, anywhere in the world.
- You will responsible for sourcing your own subject/model, who will be approved by the magazine and who will also be paid for the photoshoot. Model's may be sourced through your own networks or casting calls.
- Studio photoshoots are preferable, however beautiful and unique locations will be considered.
- We are seeking male models only for this project. Photographers can be of any gender.
- Models should be asked to wear/bring clothes to the photoshoot that speaks to their own individuality and style.
- Images will consist of one male modelling simple, editorial and catalogue-style images in various clothes and outfits, as well as underwear/swimwear as well as nude. All models must be comfortable with nudity.
- Final delivery should consist of between 50-100 high-resolution images, to be published in the magazine, as well as a short bio both the photographer and the model, and two signed release forms (provided by the magazine).
- Images MUST be exclusive to the magazine and must not be published anywhere else.
This job is set at AU$200 which can be divided equally between model and photographer. The photoshoot will then be published in the pages of the magazine with full credit to both the model and photographer (name or brand credit).
This is a relatively small photoshoot job. A sample/draft magazine can be provided on request for those genuinely interested in applying for this job, along with further photoshoot guidelines. To be considered for this job, some samples of previous work would be appreciated.
