Photography lessons -- 2

Job ID: 33266605

Budget: $15 – $25 CAD

I do a decent amount of photography - but I would like someone to teach me some new skills to step-up my game!
Maybe 5-10 lessons of 1-2hrs each will be enough for what I'm hoping.
I don't need anything so professional - some casual, informal lessons but someone more talented than myself.
Mostly - I've done street, architecture, and landscape photography
To give you an idea of my own skills level - I have a good understanding of aperture, shutter speed, and ISO and how they relate to each other. I included a few of what I think are my better shots below so you have an idea of where I am. I've done very minor projects like photography for a website, a karate tournament, etc... I'm keen to know a little more about metering, flash use, different types of auto-focus, and more.

I'm not on any strict timeline for this and we can go at a relaxed pace, 1-2 lessons /week, or more or less. I'm more invested in getting quality lessons than I am with timing & regularity.

I'm hoping for someone who can teach me about:
1- Basic photo composition and style - I'll send you some of my pictures & you can give me some constructive criticism.
2- I have a Nikon D750 - I'm hoping to learn ALL the technical aspects of the camera - what each button and setting does.
3- I'd like to learn how to (better) use a flash.
4- Basic photoshop and photo-editing. Nothing too complicated. Not willing to spend money on a program, hopefully you can recommend me a free one.
5- Anything else you can teach me you think would be useful! Bring something to the table(!)

I'm not (necessarily) looking for someone professional - just someone better than I am.
If you're interested, and to apply:
1- Give me a little sell about yourself.
2- Let me see some of your work.

Don't be shy with any questions!
I'm open to discussion about a fair price for such a thing.

SERIOUS bonus points if you live in Montreal and can meet in person. But it's not a requirement.

To prove me you actually read through this - tell me who is your favourite photographer ?
