New England Family Trip Photographer
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I’m looking for a versatile photographer who can shadow an extended family for three consecutive days as we travel the Berkshires, Northern CT and Middlesex county. Expect 12-hour shooting days; you’ll ride along, join us on foot, and be ready whenever a genuine moment—or a perfect group shot—appears. We will return to home base each evening, so you do need to live in the Berkshires or provide your own accommodations.
Photography style
I’m after a balanced approach: mostly spontaneous captures and a handful of posed images to anchor the story of the trip.
Key focus
Your lens should stay primarily on our family activities and outings—mealtimes, roadside discoveries, quick hikes, anything that shows our shared experience. Scenic frames are welcome when they help set the scene, but the people come first.
Itinerary & logistics
We already have a point-to-point itinerary covering stops across the region. I’ll share the schedule once we connect so you can plan gear, daily travel, and anticipate lighting changes throughout the day.
Deliverables
• Curated, fully edited high-resolution images for each day (JPEG + RAW)
• A short same-day preview set (about 10 selects) so we can share updates with family and friends
• Final online gallery download-ready within two weeks of wrap-up
If you’re comfortable working long days on the move and can switch effortlessly between reportage and lightly directed portraits, let’s talk; I’d love to see a portfolio that illustrates both skillsets.
