About the Project
We are collaborating with a global leader in artificial intelligence (AI) research to develop next-generation, multilingual AI systems. These systems rely on real-world data to accurately interpret written text in different languages—including Korean.
As part of this initiative, we are launching the Korean Language Image Collection Project, aimed at gathering authentic images containing Korean-language text from natural environments across South Korea.
This is a remote, freelance opportunity for iPhone users currently living in South Korea. If you’re looking for flexible, part-time work that contributes to the advancement of AI technology, this is the perfect project for you.
What You’ll Capture (Text Must Be in Korean)
You’ll be responsible for submitting original, high-resolution photos of Korean-language text found in everyday settings. Acceptable examples include:
Street signs, billboards, public posters, and storefront signage
Handwritten notes, reminders, calendars, and to-do lists
Menus, brochures, flyers, and product packaging
Labels from food items, cosmetics, and household goods
Instruction manuals, booklets, or any printed material with Korean writing
All images must be taken by you
No screenshots, internet-sourced, blurry, or duplicate images
Each photo should be clear, well-lit, in focus, and legible
Requirements
To qualify, you must:
Own an iPhone (model after 2018)
Be currently residing in South Korea
Have basic skills using your phone’s camera
Be able to follow submission guidelines carefully
Have a stable internet connection to upload images
Compensation
Earn $150 USD for every 500 valid image set submitted
No cap on the number of sets you can contribute
Payments are made promptly after QA team approval of your submissions
