We are working with a global AI development partner to improve language understanding models by collecting authentic, real-world images of written text in different languages. As part of this initiative, we are launching the Japanese Language Image Collection Project.
If you are an iPhone user living in Japan, this is an excellent opportunity to earn money on a flexible schedule while contributing to the advancement of artificial intelligence.
What You’ll Do
You will be required to capture and submit high-quality, original photos that include Japanese-language text found in your daily surroundings. Examples include:
Public signage, street posters, billboards, and advertisements
Handwritten notes, reminders, to-do lists, or calendars
Restaurant menus, food packaging, brochures, or product labels
Greeting cards, flyers, user manuals, receipts, or printed documents
All images must be captured by you using an iPhone
Screenshots, blurry photos, duplicates, or internet downloads are not accepted
Images should be well-lit, in focus, and clearly show the Japanese text
Requirements
To qualify for this project, you must:
Own an iPhone (any model)
Currently reside in Japan
Be able to capture clear, legible images of real-world Japanese text
Follow simple submission guidelines that will be provided
Payment Details
Receive $150 USD for every 500 valid, approved image set
No limit on how many sets you can submit
Payment is processed promptly after QA review and approval
