I need a collection of images containing printed text in Hindi. The images should feature specific items, including:
- Single Event Posters
- Multi Event Posters
- Recurring Event Posters
- Flyers
- Events with Contact Information
- School Schedules
- Other Schedules
- Calendars
- Dated Notices
- Billboards
- Invitations
Project Brief: Image Collection for Apple Photo Translation & Object Recognition
1. Project Objective
Collect high-quality images to support Apple’s photo translation and object recognition features, with a focus on Hindi text.
2. Project Scope
Participants will use an iPhone to capture images of specified items containing text content. Each asset must include three photos of the same object, taken from different angles and distances.
3. Device Requirements
• Device: iPhone 12 or newer
• Operating System: iOS 18 or above
4. Image Capture Guidelines
4.1 General Shooting Requirements
• Three photos per asset, captured from different:
o Angles
o Distances (e.g., close-up, medium shot)
o Lighting conditions (natural light, indoor light if possible)
• Adjust lighting, when possible, to ensure clarity.
4.2 Image Quality & Framing
• Text must be the main focus, occupying at least 20% of the frame
• Ensure:
o Sharp focus
o No motion blur, overexposure, or glare
o Camera angle within ±45° of the text plane (perfect alignment not required)
• Do not crop text content — ensure the full text is visible.
• Avoid personal or private information (e.g., phone numbers, faces, personal documents)
5. Language Requirement
• All images must contain Hindi text. Multilingual content is acceptable, but Hindi is mandatory.
6. Categorization & Labelling
• Label each asset accurately by subcategory:
o E.g., Business Card, Poster, Notice, Event, etc.
• Event category images are currently priority—please focus on this type where possible.
7. Submission & Delivery
• Minimum submission: 50 assets (i.e., 150 photos)
• File format: HEIC
• Upload to: Google Drive
• Access settings: Shareable link with “Anyone with the link can view”
8. Timeline
• Upon acceptance, the first 50 assets (150 Images) must be delivered within 1 week
9. Compensation
• Will be discussed during Interview.
Note: We may increase the unit rate once the total number of submitted assets reaches a certain threshold.
10. Reminders
• Follow all category-specific guidelines carefully.
• Privacy and data protection are critical—ensure no sensitive information is unintentionally included.
