Fun 60th Birthday Coverage

Job ID: 40112833

Budget: $250 – $750 AUD

On Saturday 10 January my husband celebrating his 60th with about seventy-five friends and family, and I want the energy of the night to live well beyond last call. From 6.45p.m. until 10.45p.m. you will roam the room capturing candid laughs, semi-posed group shots and, most importantly, filming the speeches and toasts that kick the night into gear.

The look I have in mind is casual, fun and a little artistic—think rich colours, interesting angles and a light editorial touch rather than stiff formality. While the speeches are a must-film moment, I also want footage of the dance floor in full swing and plenty of spontaneous guest interactions to balance the story.

Deliverables
• A cleanly edited video file (or separate clips if you prefer) of all speeches and toasts, with clear audio.
• A curated gallery of high-resolution photographs—both candid and lightly posed—ready for print and web. Basic colour grading and light retouching expected.
• All raw files supplied on request once completed

If you enjoy working documentary-style yet aren’t afraid to stage a quick group shot when the moment calls, this should be a straightforward four-hour assignment. Bring whatever gear you trust for low-light event work; on-camera flash is fine so long as it doesn’t dominate the room. I’ll have a quick run-sheet ready when you arrive so you know exactly when the speeches start and where the dance floor will ignite.

Let me know if you have any questions about timing, access or preferred file formats, and feel free to share a link to similar event work so I can get a sense of your creative eye.
