Wildlife Thermal Photogrammetry Survey
Budget: €8 – €30 EUR
I need an experienced photogrammetry specialist to process both RGB and thermal imagery over a protected wildlife zone. The aim is straightforward: monitor animal activity, spot heat signatures that could reveal nests or dens, and deliver up-to-date, centimetre-level maps park rangers can open directly in QGIS.
Your scope covers everything from safe data acquisition to the full post-processing workflow. I expect the thermal mosaic to align perfectly with the high-resolution orthomosaic generated from the visible-spectrum photos. Please keep the project compatible with Pix4D or Agisoft Metashape.
Deliverables
• Geo-referenced thermal image mosaic (GeoTIFF, <10 cm GSD)
• High-resolution detailed map / orthomosaic (GeoTIFF plus optional Web Mercator tiles)
• Processing files and metadata: camera parameters, control points, flight logs, and a short methodology report summarising accuracy and noteworthy findings
Accuracy and repeatability are crucial because I plan seasonal re-flights along the same corridor. Structure the workflow so it can be reproduced and name files consistently.
