Apple Photos Library Reconstruction Expert
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I’m looking for someone with experience in Apple Photos, iCloud Photos, photo metadata (EXIF), OneDrive and photo library reconstruction.
This is NOT a standard data recovery or phone repair job. I still have my files. The issue is rebuilding my photo library correctly.
After a previous account issue, I exported my old iCloud Photos into multiple ZIP files which are stored on my laptop and OneDrive. During the recovery process I imported some of them incorrectly, resulting in many photos and videos showing import/download dates instead of their original capture dates. Some metadata has been lost, particularly for downloaded photos and videos (including Snapchat exports), while other folders still contain correct metadata.
I now have:
• Multiple iCloud Photos ZIP exports
• OneDrive copies
• Laptop copies
• Current iPhone/iCloud Photos library
• Duplicate versions of some files with different metadata
My goal is to rebuild ONE chronological Apple Photos library combining my old recovered photos with my current iPhone photos while preserving as much original metadata as possible.
Ideally I need someone who can:
• Assess the current library before making changes
• Identify the best/original copy of duplicate files
• Preserve original dates wherever possible
• Recover metadata if available
• Remove duplicates where appropriate
• Recommend the safest import process
• Rebuild the Apple Photos library into chronological order
This is a very sentimental project and I do not want any files deleted, overwritten or imported until the source folders have been properly assessed.
Please only apply if you have experience with Apple Photos, iCloud photo libraries, metadata/EXIF, digital asset management or similar work. Please let me know your relevant experience, whether you would work from copies rather than my originals, and provide an estimate for an initial assessment before any reconstruction work begins.
