Recover Samsung A55 Photos/Videos

I have roughly 800 JPG and MP4 files that were shot on my Samsung A55. After moving them from the phone’s internal storage to a micro-SD card they stopped opening: Windows Photos reports “It looks like we don’t support this file format.” File sizes are intact, so the data is still present—headers or file structure appear to be damaged.
I already ran a couple of well-known recovery or repair utilities, but they made no difference. Before I commit to a full-blown hardware lab, I want a specialist approach that goes deeper than off-the-shelf software and tells me whether a clean logical repair is still possible.
