Modern Minimalist Photo Album Design

Job ID: 40209293

Budget: ₹100 – ₹400 INR

We’re looking for a skilled freelance designer to collaborate with us on an ongoing basis to create beautifully designed photobooks for our clients. This is not a one-time project — we continuously service customers, and we’re building a reliable, long-term partnership with designers who enjoy working on photo-driven layouts.

About the Work :

We work with high-resolution images that need to be transformed into sleek, modern, and minimalist photo albums. The design approach prioritizes clean layouts, generous white space, consistent typography, and subtle design details that let each photograph breathe while still feeling intentional and premium.

The imagery will already be chronologically organized, and all captions or copy will be shared via a common folder. Most albums range between 40–60 pages, depending on the project.

Scope & Responsibilities :

1. Design complete photobooks using Adobe InDesign
(Canva may be used for quick mock-ups if it speeds up your workflow)
2. Apply light photo retouching in Photoshop when needed
(basic color correction, exposure balancing, removing minor distractions)

Set up:
1. Master pages
2. Grid systems
3. Paragraph and character styles so the files remain fully editable for future revisions

Deliver print-ready PDFs/JPEGs (CMYK, 300 DPI, with proper bleeds)

Share packaged InDesign source files at the end of each project

Productivity Expectations

On average, ~20 pages are designed within one hour

Most albums are structured and templated, allowing for efficient, repeatable workflows

Compensation (Per Page)

₹10 / page – Small albums
(8×6, 8×8, 10×8)

₹15 / page – Medium albums
(12×9, 12×12)

₹20 / page – Large albums
(12×18)

Payment is calculated per final approved page.

What We’re Looking For :
1. Strong experience with photo-centric layouts
2. A clear eye for minimalist, modern design
3. Comfort working with structured systems and templates
4. Reliability and consistency — since this is a recurring collaboration

How to Apply :

Please share:

1. A link to your portfolio or past work
2. Examples of photobooks, albums, editorial spreads, or coffee-table books (if available)
3. A short note on your experience with InDesign-based workflows

Experience with coffee-table books or editorial design is highly relevant, even though this role is album-focused.

We’re ready to start as soon as we find the right designer and are happy to answer any technical or creative questions before kicking things off. If you enjoy working on thoughtfully designed photo albums and want steady, repeat work, we’d love to hear from you.
