Enhancement of Existing Babysitter App for Android and iOS
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We are seeking an experienced mobile app developer (or team) to implement new features and improvements to our existing Babysitter app build with Ionic-Angular and cordova, available on both Android and iOS platforms. Our app, which connects parents with babysitters, requires several enhancements to improve user experience, functionality, and communication. The successful candidate will be committed to high code quality, with a rigorous pull-request review process to ensure maintainability and scalability.

Backend: Laravel 6
Frontend: App (Ionic-Angular 7.3 and cordova 9.0.0)
Key Requirements:
Code Quality: All code contributions must be submitted through pull requests and will be thoroughly reviewed before merging to ensure adherence to project standards.
Task Estimation: We prefer a short estimation for each task. We are open to working on an hourly basis but prefer fixed rates for tasks based on satisfaction. We can also start with a few small tasks and then move on to the others, we are open to suggestions.
Documentation: Things must be documented in such a way that we can repeat repetitive work (creating a new app) independently afterwards
Experience with Mobile App Development: Proficiency in the development and maintenance of both Android and iOS applications is essential., Ionic, Angular and cordova knowledge
Specific Tasks:
1. User Profile Enhancement: Add an "Add to group" button allowing users to be added to existing groups.
2. Group Overview Updates: Display all friends not yet added to groups with an option to add them directly.
3. Phonebook Syncing: Implement syncing with the phonebook to list contacts, prioritizing those already in the app followed by those not yet using the app. Offer an option to send a predefined message via messenger to invite them.
4. Contact Addition via Phone Number: Enable users to add people using their phone numbers, in addition to email.
5. Identity Verification Enhancement: Require a selfie upload along with ID card or passport for verification.
6. Communication Features: Implement push notifications and email for user communication.
7. Welcome Message: Craft a welcome message for new logins.
8. Reminder Notification: Send a message after a few days to remind users of incomplete profile steps.
9. Babysitter Rating System: Allow parents to rate babysitters post-event, displaying the average rating on the babysitter's profile.
10.Donation Button: Introduce a donation button via Stripe after a certain number of successful requests.
11. Location-Based Request Creation: Enable users to select their current location when creating a new request.
12. Move from legacy cordova-plugin-googleplus plugin (maybe including move to capacitor https://capacitorjs.com/cordova)
