I am arranging an education-only background screen for new hires in Nouakchott, Mauritania. Your task is to confirm that each candidate’s stated academic qualifications are genuine and were in fact awarded by the institutions they list.
What I will provide once we start:
• Candidate-supplied copies of diplomas or transcripts (when available)
• Contact details—or at least the names—of the schools or universities to be checked
What I need back from you for every candidate:
• Direct confirmation from the issuing institution (phone, email, or formal letter) that the credential exists and matches the graduate’s name, field of study and date of award
• A brief written report in English summarising your verification steps, time stamps, and the institution’s response, attached with any supporting evidence such as screenshots or signed letters
Local knowledge of Nouakchott academic bodies and fluency in French and Arabic will make the job smoother. Familiarity with standard vetting tools such as TrueProfile or direct registrar outreach is a plus, but I am open to your preferred, proven workflow as long as the results are independently traceable.
