Tracking System Feature Enhancements
Budget: $250 – $750 NZD
Some tasks need to be on tracking system
What I want to accomplish:
• Add three new capabilities—real-time updates so data pushes instantly, user notifications to keep everyone in the loop, and detailed reporting that lets us slice the data any way we need.
• While you’re inside the codebase, streamline queries, refactor any slow logic, and generally optimise the system so page loads and background jobs run noticeably faster.
You’ll have direct access to the current repository and staging server; the stack is well-documented, and I’ll walk you through the architecture on a quick kickoff call. Once the new features are live on staging and benchmarks show improved response times under load, we’ll move to production.
Deliverables
1. Working real-time data update module integrated with our existing UI.
2. Configurable notification system (email and in-app to start) with user-level preferences.
3. Customisable reporting dashboard with export options.
4. Performance report comparing pre- and post-optimisation metrics.
5. Clean, commented code committed to our Git repo and a brief handover note.
If you’ve implemented similar upgrades before and can demonstrate measurable speed gains, I’d love to see your approach and timeline.
