FM & IPTV Broadcast Systems Optimization
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I need an engineer who can keep both our FM and IPTV services running at peak performance. On the radio side, your strength must be in frequency modulation: aligning deviation standards, monitoring RF performance, and fine-tuning the modulation chain so our signal stays clean and compliant. You will take charge of the transmitter systems themselves—routine alignment, emergency fault isolation, and any upgrades that push efficiency higher.
For IPTV, the priority is our content delivery network. You should feel at home configuring edge caches, tuning origin servers, and ensuring seamless hand-offs between CDN nodes so viewers experience zero buffering. Experience with common CDN toolsets (e.g., Nginx-RTMP, Wowza, or Akamai-style workflows) is a plus, but I’m open to whichever stack you’re most confident will deliver reliable throughput.
Day-to-day you’ll:
• Inspect and maintain transmitters, modulation monitors, and RF analyzers
• Diagnose and resolve any on-air or streaming interruptions fast
• Optimise CDN routing and caching parameters for lowest possible latency
• Provide concise weekly reports on signal integrity and stream quality
Acceptance is simple: when the FM carrier holds steady within spec, the CDN delivers streams with <1 % rebuffer ratio, and any incidents are closed within the agreed SLA, the job is done right.
If you thrive in both RF and IP worlds, let’s talk.
