Fix EC2 Performance Bottleneck

My production workload is running on an AWS EC2 instance and its performance has degraded noticeably. Pages that used to load instantly now hesitate, batch jobs over-run their windows, and overall responsiveness is lagging. This is strictly a performance matter—there are no active security or deployment concerns—so I need a specialist who can dive straight into tuning and optimisation.

You’ll start by profiling the current EC2 setup: instance type, CPU and memory utilisation, EBS throughput, network latency, auto-scaling behaviour and any CloudWatch metrics that might reveal hidden bottlenecks. From there, I’m expecting actionable recommendations and hands-on changes that move the needle—whether that’s right-sizing the instance, tweaking kernel parameters, improving storage I/O, or adjusting load-balancer and Auto Scaling Group settings.
