AWS RDS MySQL Performance Tuning

I run a production-grade MySQL instance on Amazon RDS and I’m struggling with recurring connection timeouts and noticeable I/O spikes during peak traffic. I need an AWS RDS specialist who can dive straight into performance tuning: reviewing parameter groups, slow-query logs, index strategy, and storage configuration so we can isolate the bottlenecks and bring latency back under control.
