Cybersecurity Consultant
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
Job Summary:
We're looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team. You'll work with clients to assess their security posture, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend and implement solutions to protect their systems and data. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive security assessments, including penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and risk analysis.
Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with industry standards and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
Provide expert guidance to clients on security architecture, technology selection, and best practices.
Respond to and investigate security incidents, including forensic analysis and remediation efforts.
Create detailed reports and presentations for clients, explaining complex technical issues in a clear, concise manner.
Stay up-to-date on emerging threats, technologies, and security trends.
Mentor junior staff and contribute to the growth of the cybersecurity practice.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on consulting or a similar client-facing role.
Proven expertise in one or more areas, such as network security, cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), application security, or identity and access management.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
Hands-on experience with security tools like Nessus, Burp Suite, Metasploit, Wireshark, and SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly preferred.
