I run a corporate website and need a seasoned penetration tester to uncover every security flaw, document them clearly, and suggest concrete fixes.
The top priority is a deep dive into network-level vulnerabilities, with a special emphasis on Intrusion Detection weaknesses. While the main focus is the network perimeter, feel free to flag any other critical issues you encounter across authentication, data storage, or application logic—getting a full picture of our exposure is the ultimate goal.
Deliverables I expect:
• Comprehensive vulnerability report detailing risk level, reproducible steps, and recommended remediations.
• Proof-of-concept evidence for each confirmed finding (screenshots, logs, or packet captures).
• A prioritized action plan so my internal team can patch efficiently.
• Optional short debrief call to walk through high-impact items.
Testing must respect legal boundaries and avoid service disruption. Familiarity with industry-standard tools such as Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit, and Snort—or comparable alternatives—is important. Experience writing concise executive summaries alongside technical notes will set you apart.
