I need PDF expert/ADOBE ACROBAT expert

I have issues editing income fax PDF files (Using Vonage fax). I'm using Adobe Acrobat DC 64. After editing, it prints with grey background and some letters fill with black ink. When printing documents on laser printer, gray background almost not seen.
