Scan & OCR 200 Pages
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I have a bound manuscript of roughly 200 type-written quarto sheets that I will post to your UK address. Once it arrives, please handle every page carefully, scan the lot, and merge the images into one PDF. I need optical character recognition so the finished document is fully searchable, but I do not require a manual proof-read of the text. A simple, standard file name is fine—no special folder structure or numbering rules.
When you are done, copy the single searchable PDF onto a USB memory stick, pack the stick together with the original manuscript, and post everything back to me in the same condition it arrived. Use any reliable flat-bed scanner you prefer; resolution just needs to be high enough for clear OCR. Confidentiality and safe handling of the pages are essential throughout the process.

• One USB memory stick containing a single, OCR-enabled PDF of the entire manuscript
• Safe return of the physical manuscript via tracked post
