Residential Structural Review & Stamp
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a full set of residential structural drawings that now need a professional check before we submit them to the city. Your brief is straightforward:
• Start with the drawings I’ll send (PDF + DWG) and create a fresh set of structural calculations. There are no prior calcs to tweak, so everything—gravity, lateral, foundation, beam, column, and connection checks—must be generated from scratch.
• While the main priority is code compliance, if you spot opportunities to safely down-size any over-designed beams or members, please incorporate the revisions and note them in the schedule. Savings are welcome as long as they meet the governing residential codes.
• Deliverables: a complete, signed & sealed calculation package ready for permit submittal, plus an updated framing/beam schedule reflecting any approved reductions. A short cover letter summarising assumptions, code references, and any changes will round it out.
I’ll provide architectural plans, site data, and any soil info I have as soon as we begin. Please confirm you can stamp in my jurisdiction and let me know which design software you prefer—ETABS, SAP2000, RISA, or similar are all fine—as long as the final package is clear to the reviewer.
