PDF metadata modification to simulate fewer pages without hiding them.

Job ID: 39419112

Budget: $30 – $35 USD

I’m looking for a freelancer experienced in PDF files and metadata editing.

Important: I do not want to hide pages. All pages must remain fully visible when the PDF is opened. What I need is a method to make the PDF metadata report fewer pages than the document actually contains.

For example, if the document has 50 pages, I want all 50 pages to be visible, but the metadata should indicate only 10 or 15 pages. This is to trick a software that restricts the number of pages it accepts.

I need this to be done using a Windows command-line tool. The freelancer must tell me which program to use and provide the exact commands so I can apply the same process to future PDF files.

Goal: Only modify the metadata information so that the file is accepted by page-limited software, without changing the visible content of the PDF.

Previous experience with similar technical projects, advanced knowledge of PDF structure, and command-line tools is highly valued.
