PDF Text Extraction
Budget: $25 – $75 USD
As a Mac user, I'm in need of a skilled freelancer who can efficiently handle the conversion of text-heavy PDF files into Word documents. The ideal candidate will be well versed in maintaining the original formatting and structure of the document throughout the conversion process.
Key requirements:
- Expertise in PDF handling and conversion, currently when I print the pdf the text is too small and I can't read anything (they're meant to be big posters)
- Convert single color PDFs into multi-page black and white documents
- 1 PDF page should be 6-9 pages in Word
- Keep documents in similar format, ie. where there is a table, keep that table in Word
- Where there is a flow chart, keep that flow chart in word (you may use something like draw.io or lucid chart for that part also)
- Make it look good, don't simply slice and dice the pdf,
- You should be able to copy and paste most text but some manual work is required as well.
- Experience with Microsoft Word
- Exceptional attention to details, capable of preserving the original layout and content accurately.
- There are 4 pdfs, 3 are 2 pages, and 1 is 1 page
- After the initial submission, I may request reasonable revisions up to 3 times (ie, use a table instead of bullet list)
