PDF Process Optimization
Budget: $15 – $25 CAD
We create PDFs from various software programs (ArcGIS, Publisher, Word, etc.) and combine them into one large document. We take the final PDF and load it into MakeReady software in order to print in hard copy. The PDFs also need to be optimized for use in our software programs which are viewed on the web and on people’s cell phones. We are looking for someone to come in and optimize this process for us from beginning to end.
• Review each of our templates to determine if there are images or components that are bloating the file sizes
• Troubleshoot the multiple issues we are having with file size, embedded fonts, image quality, etc.
• Determine why we are having issues loading our PDF documents into the MakeReady software
• Set standards for file types of images utilized within documents
• Set standards for settings within each program for producing PDFs in print quality and web quality
