I'm looking for a meticulous individual with excellent data processing skills to convert 100 PDF files (Journal and Conference papers) into JSON format using a provided JSON template.
The ideal candidate for this task should have experience in:

Key requirements:
- Primary content of the PDFs is text
- Exclude headers and footers but include table and figure captions in the JSON output
- Output should be in plain text, no need to maintain formatting styles from the original PDFs
