PDF Blueprints to Revit BIM
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I have four A1-size PDF sheets that show the full set of elevations, floor plans, slices and a plotting layout for a house built in the 1990s on a hillside plot. A minor update included in the files was undertaken in 2008.
I need these hand drawn 2D blueprints rebuilt accurately in Revit (RVT).
You will be scanning from the PDFs only, so please recreate every visible wall, opening, stair, roof line and datum exactly as shown.
There is no expectation that the final RVT file meets the highest structural engineering standards. I am using the file as a reference for maintenance only.
Key expectations
• One clean, well-organised Revit file (.rvt) containing the model and the corresponding sheet set
• Correct scale (1:100 on the plans, 1:50 on the sections/elevations as in the PDF)
• Named views and sheets that mirror the PDF names
• Consistent families for doors, windows and annotations (use native Revit families, no random imports).
I do not require extra material specs or MEP right now—focus on reproducing the architectural geometry and annotation that already exists.
Once delivered, I will run a quick clash and consistency check; if any view is off-scale or missing, a single revision round will be expected.
Let me know your estimated turnaround and any clarifying questions before you start, and please share at least one similar Revit conversion sample so I can gauge your modelling accuracy.
