Format Manuscript & Publish on KDP

My manuscript is complete and I’m ready to take it live on Amazon KDP—I just need a detail-oriented professional to handle the technical steps for me.

Interior formatting
• Re-format the document so all headings, subheadings, paragraphs, and margins are clean, consistent, and KDP-ready.
• Deliver the final interior file as a print-quality PDF, as that’s the format I prefer for upload.

Cover preparation
I already have a finished cover design. Please check its dimensions, spine width, bleed, and resolution, then convert it into the exact PDF template KDP requires for both paperback and eBook.

ISBN acquisition
Secure a unique ISBN through my Bowker account (I will provide access). Make sure the metadata matches the book’s title, subtitle, author name, and imprint.

KDP publication
Once the interior, cover, and ISBN are locked in, upload everything to my KDP dashboard, fill in the metadata fields, link the ISBN, set print options, and walk the file through pre-launch checks until it shows as “Live” in my account.

Acceptance criteria
1. Interior PDF passes KDP’s previewer with zero margin or font issues.
2. Cover PDF meets the “print-ready” checker on first submission.
3. ISBN is correctly registered and visible on the paperback listing.
4. Book status in KDP dashboard shows “Publishing” or “Live,” with me able to see the final proof.
