Financial Accounts Verification in PDF application for desktop -- 2
Budget: $20 – $30 NZD
I need someone to build a desktop application that can do the following form standard pdfs that I put into it for companies and or Trust financial accounts all exported as pdfsa from Xero (i..e. all will have a similar output).
Financial Statement Checker
Check the uploaded annual report PDF against the following rules and return check marks beside each relevant line in the Balance Sheet / Performance / Equity (or Trust Funds) / Notes / Report pages, and also provide a summary page at the end:
• Property, Plant & Equipment equals the Closing Balance in the Depreciation Schedule
• Depreciation expense in the Statement of Financial Performance equals the Depreciation total in the Depreciation Schedule
• Shareholder Current Account (or Beneficiaries’ Advance Accounts for a trust) in the Balance Sheet matches the total in its schedule
• Opening Balance in Statement of Movements in Equity (or Trust Funds) equals the prior year Total Equity (or Trust Funds) in the Balance Sheet
• Closing Retained Earnings / Trust Funds equals the Balance Sheet figure
• Total Equity / Trust Funds equals the Balance Sheet figure
• Surplus (Deficit) before Income Tax in the Performance statement equals Net Profit (Loss) Before Tax in the Tax Reconciliation note
• Income Tax Expense in the Performance statement equals Tax Payable in the Tax Reconciliation note
• Income Tax Note Opening Balance equals the prior-year Total Income Tax Position
• Imputation Credit Account Opening Balance equals the prior-year ICA total
• If the Balance Sheet contains a GST line, the GST note must contain the word “exclusive”
• If the Balance Sheet does not contain a GST line, the GST note must not contain “exclusive”
• Related Party Advances: any Balance Sheet “Advance – [Name]” matches the same party’s balance in the Related Parties note
• Compilation Report: the Reporting Scope date matches the year-end date at the top of the statements
• Compilation Report: the signature date is within 31 days of today
Return green ticks if correct and red crosses if not, beside each line in the statements/notes/report, and provide a colored Yes/No summary page at the end as a pdf output.
