FastReport .NET Reporting

Scope of Work:

Report Design & Development

Create professional reports such as:

Purchase Orders (POs)

Tender Summaries & Bid Comparisons

Budget vs Actual Reports

Project Cost Allocation Reports

Implement grouping, filtering, and aggregation logic.

Use subreports (master-detail, child tables) where necessary.

Support dynamic parameters (date ranges, project IDs, tenant context).

Integration with .NET API

Configure reports to bind with DTOs and EF Core queries.

Build a report service layer (e.g., IReportService) that loads templates, injects data, and exports results.

Expose endpoints for generating reports in PDF, Excel, and Word formats.

Frontend (Vue.js) Integration

Ensure reports can be triggered from the Vue.js frontend via API.

Provide both on-screen preview (PDF/Excel export) and direct download/export options.

Deliverables:

FastReport templates (.frx) for key reports.

Backend integration code (C# .NET, Clean Architecture).

Documentation for extending/maintaining reports.

Example API endpoints for PDF/Excel export.

Required Skills:

Strong experience with FastReport .NET (including subreports, grouping, and export).

Proficiency in C# .NET (Core/5/6/7/8/9) and Entity Framework Core.

Experience with SQL Server (T-SQL).

Familiarity with Clean Architecture principles.

Understanding of multi-tenant applications is a plus.

Bonus: Experience integrating reports with Vue.js frontends.

Engagement Details:

Work can be done remotely.

Clear milestones will be defined (e.g., PO report → Tender report → Budget report).
