Convert a PDF book into a .mobi .epub which preserves original formatting/layout

I have a pDF book that was created in Indesign and want it to work as an epub/mobi. I know how to convert it myself but not how to reformat it so it looks the same as it does in the PDF. I need the same layout of elements as in the PDF.
