Commercial Electrical Take-Off & BOM
Budget: $3 – $10 NZD
I’m preparing a commercial build-out and need an experienced estimator to turn the latest set of drawings into a precise quantity take-off and bill of materials. The work is limited to lighting and power distribution; fire-alarm devices are outside the current scope.
You will receive PDF and CAD plans as soon as we start. From those, please extract every fixture, conduit run, wire size, panelboard, breaker and accessory, tag each line with the sheet and detail reference, and present the results in a clean, editable Excel workbook. A short narrative that lists any assumptions and highlights obvious value-engineering options will help my internal team move quickly.
Deliverables
• Excel Bill of Materials separated into Lighting and Power Distribution sections
• Marked-up drawings (PDF) that show counted items for verification
• Brief assumptions and clarifications note
I’ll spot-check counts; acceptance is reached when the variance is under 2 %. Accuracy and quick turnaround are the priorities, so please let me know how soon you can start and how many days you’ll need to finish once the files arrive.
This is for the tender stage
