Book Formatting & Final Polish

My manuscript is already written, edited, and laid out in Microsoft Word; I now need a keen eye to perfect the last details so it presents flawlessly as an ebook, soft-cover, and hard-cover edition.

The focus is on layout adjustments—specifically tightening up the margins and bringing paragraph spacing into consistent alignment throughout the book. Everything else (fonts, imagery, chapter breaks, front and back matter) is locked in, so you’ll be working only on these fine-tuning passes.

Deliverables I’m after:
• A clean Word master file with unified margins and paragraph spacing.
• An e-ready file (for Kindle and other platforms, PDF versions welcome if your workflow allows).
• Print-ready PDFs for both soft-cover and hard-cover, trimmed and exported to meet KDP or IngramSpark specs—no preflight warnings.

I’d like each format to look purpose-built rather than simply converted, so feel free to use InDesign, Vellum, Sigil, Calibre, or any other professional tool you trust; just let me know your approach up front. If you’ve done a margin/spacing polish before, a brief sample or screenshot of previous work will help me choose quickly.

Once these files pass ePubCheck and the print PDFs clear the usual bleed and margin checks, the project is complete. Looking forward to your expertise.
