Wildcard Sound Module
Budget: $30 – $250 NZD
As a business looking to add sound modules to our greeting cards, I am looking to hire a talented freelancer who can help design a custom Wildcard Sound Module within one week.
The deliverables include:
1. Schematic
2. PCB layout
3. BOM/Detailed parts List
4. Gerber File
5. Video of a Breadboard working model
My client requires a sound module to play about 10 seconds of bird calls (provided by them). The manufacturer should transfer these calls into an ROM during manufacturing
The module needs to be exceptionally thin (5mm or less) so it can fit inside the cover of a greeting card.
The frequency response should be 100Hz-22KHz
The sound should be produced by mounting a resonator directly on the card.
It should be able to play the bird call about 300 times(ensure sufficient power) - current modules use 3x Cell batteries.
The sound should be triggered when the card opens with a passive (normally closed) reed switch or alternative passive switch.
The PCBoard and components should be corrosion proof due to high humidity environment.
Our current design is below, but have the following problems:
1. Mechanical switch frequently fails
2. Frequency response from speaker insufficient
3. PCB quality low
