Universal Translation PCB for Coin and Bill Acceptors
Project Overview
This project aims to develop a universal PCB that acts as a translation module between vending machines, bill acceptors, coin acceptors, and additional payment devices. The PCB must support various industry-standard input and output communication protocols, ensuring compatibility with vending machines, hoppers, and payment terminals.

This PCB will be installed between the vending machine and the payment peripherals, allowing multiple devices to operate simultaneously (e.g., a bill acceptor on ccTalk and a credit card terminal on Pulse/Mars).

Key Features

1. Universal Input Support
The PCB must support multiple bill and coin acceptors, regardless of their communication protocols:

Bill Acceptors: GBA-ST1+, GBA-ST2, NV9, NV10, NV200, MD100 (including bill recyclers).
Coin Acceptors: NRI G13, Comestero RM5, RM5HD, and similar models.
Additional Simple Inputs:
Pulse/Mars input for extra payment devices (e.g., credit card terminals).
GND, VCC, and configurable signal inputs for expanded compatibility.

The PCB must be able to send translated payment signals to vending machines, hoppers, and other peripherals:

Voltage regulation: Integrated regulators for 5V and 3.3V for logic circuits and microcontroller operation.

4. Intelligent Protocol Translation & Multiplexing
Seamless communication conversion between ccTalk, MDB, Pulse/Mars, SSP and Parallel.
Support for multiple devices at once, allowing:
A bill acceptor on ccTalk while a credit card terminal is connected on Pulse/Mars.
Multiple coin acceptors running different protocols simultaneously.

5. Microcontroller & Firmware Requirements
High-performance MCU (STM32, ESP32, or similar) with multiple UARTs and GPIOs.
Auto-detection & configuration of connected devices.
Configuration via USB, Bluetooth, or WiFi for easy setup.

6. Connectivity & Debugging
USB or Serial Port for debugging and device configuration.
LED Indicators for power, communication status, and errors.

In short the board must be able to be a main board for e.g an exchange machine and handle the different inputs, and have outputs for minimum 3 hoppers or other devices.
Aswell as it must be able to act as a slave and do payments in on e.g vending and soda machines..
