Ultrasonic Device Prototype Development & Testing
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
Hardware Engineer Needed – Ultrasonic + LED Device (Prototype + PCB)
Location Preference: India (Bangalore preferred, but remote OK)
Project Overview:
We're looking to hire an experienced electronics hardware engineer to design, prototype, and test a compact self-defense device that emits ultrasonic sound (20–30 kHz) and activates a flashlight on manual trigger.
The project includes PCB design, firmware for frequency stepping, integration of a rechargeable battery, and physical prototyping.
The goal is to develop a small form factor, reliable, and manufacturable device.
Deliverables:
Complete circuit schematic + PCB layout (Gerber, BOM)
Working firmware for:
Frequency sweep: 20 kHz to 30 kHz in 2 kHz steps
Manual button activation (single button preferred)
LED light triggering
Integration with 7.4V Li-ion battery + boost converter
Compact form factor (≤ 9x5x3 cm)
1–2 tested prototypes
Documentation of test results per acceptance criteria (provided in spec)
You Must:
Have experience with ultrasonic circuits, drivers, or Arduino-based controllers
Be able to deliver Gerber files, BOM, and firmware
Understand thermal and power constraints for compact devices
Be able to test range, sound output, LED brightness, and frequency stability
Deliver within 3–4 weeks max
Resources:
Full specifications and testing criteria are attached as a document. Please read carefully before bidding.
To Apply:
Share 1–2 similar hardware projects you’ve completed
Confirm if you can prototype locally or need assistance sourcing components
Mention your preferred microcontroller (Arduino Nano acceptable)
