Description:
We’re looking for a skilled firmware developer to join an ongoing hardware project involving a compact USB-C Hub. The Gerber files and PCB design are already complete — we now require firmware to be developed from scratch and tested on a working proof of concept (PoC).
# Key Features of the USB-C Hub:
- 4K HDMI Output: Up to 60Hz with HDR
- 2 x USB 3.2 Ports: 10Gbps each
- Ethernet Port: 10/100 Mbps with PoE+ support
- USB-C PD: Power Delivery up to 90W
- Compact Design: 63.5 mm x 63.5 mm x 41.3 mm
# What We Need From You ?
- Firmware development from scratch to enable all hub functionalities
- Experience with USB, HDMI, Ethernet, and USB Power Delivery protocols
- Firmware-level testing and debugging on our provided PoC hardware
- Clean and documented code with version control
- Deliverables: Binary firmware, source code, and test/validation report
# Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in firmware development for USB hubs or similar devices
- Hands-on knowledge of STM32, NXP, or equivalent MCUs (depending on compatibility)
- Familiarity with USB-C PD controllers and HDMI signal handling
- Comfortable collaborating remotely and delivering under a timeline
This project is time-sensitive, and we are looking to complete testing and validation within 4-6 weeks.
