Through-Hole PCB Board Layout

Job ID: 39831776

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have a simple through-hole interface board that needs to fit in the exact footprint of our existing Amp board. The enclosure, outline, and the 8-pin Molex (J2) position are already locked in; I’ve attached the old board file so you can grab the outline and J2 coordinates directly. Everything else is new.

Reference material you’ll find in the zip:
• Grok text schematic
• My matching hand-drawn schematic (.jpg)
• Pin-color chart for the cable
• The legacy board layout file (for outline + J2 only)

Key requirements
• Keep the finished PCB exactly the same size as the existing Amp board.
• Place J2 exactly where it sits on the old board; this is the “Output” in the Grok schematic.
• Add eight large through-hole solder pads for the “Input” cable. Label each pad with the wire colors shown in the .jpg. (Both Black and Shield pads must tie to J2-1.)
• All components are through-hole, and I’ll be hand-stuffing, so maintain generous pad sizes and clear silkscreen.
• Follow standard PCB design rules—no exotic constraints beyond those baked into any mainstream fab house.

Deliverables
1. Editable source file (KiCad, Altium, or Eagle—whichever you prefer).
2. Production-ready Gerbers, drill files, and board stack-up notes.
3. Simple PDF/PNG assembly drawing showing reference designators, pad labels, and key net connections.

If anything in the schematics looks ambiguous, ping me; turnaround will be quick because the circuit is straightforward.
